Rob has lived in the East Bay for nearly 30 years, where he raised two children and recently retired from a career in management consulting and information technology for retailers.
For much of that time, he commuted through Walnut Creek into San Francisco, witnessing the growing ranks of people experiencing homelessness in both cities and asking how he could be part of the solution.
That question led him first to the board of a homeless services provider in San Francisco and, more recently, to Trinity Center, where he has worked to support the many unhoused individuals who now live in Contra Costa County.
Guided by his faith and his volunteer work at Trinity Center, Rob has come to know many individuals experiencing homelessness and hear their powerful stories. Those experiences have strengthened his conviction that, “There but for the grace of God, go I.”
