FastTrack Back2Work
At Trinity Center, our mission is to support individuals experiencing housing instability as they work toward reclaiming independence and rebuilding their lives. The FastTrack Back2Work program is an extension of this mission—providing a structured, supportive pathway for members to quickly regain workforce readiness and secure sustainable employment.
Through individualized support, this program offers access to job preparation training, continuing education, financial literacy, and vital community resources—all within a trauma-informed, dignity-centered framework. Each participant is paired with a dedicated mentor to foster accountability, encouragement, and growth. In addition to practical employment skills, participants develop healthy relational habits, career clarity, and confidence to thrive in both personal and professional environments.
Our FastTrack Back2Work program will include (but is not limited to) the following:
- Resume and cover letter writing support
- Job search strategies and application guidance
- Interview preparation and mock interviews
- Digital literacy and job search technology training
- Soft skills training (e.g., communication, time management, teamwork)
- One-on-one career coaching including planning and goal-setting, follow-ups and advancement support
- Job placement assistance and employer matching
- Financial literacy education (budgeting, saving, credit building)
- Substance abuse and mental health referrals and connectivity
- Access to appropriate work attire and supplies
- Technology access (computers, Wi-Fi, phones)
- Individual mentorship or coaching
- Volunteer or internship placements for skill-building
The 4-Step Process:
- Assessment:
Each participant begins with a comprehensive one-on-one assessment to identify their strengths, challenges, goals, and needs, allowing for a fully customized workforce development plan.
- Phases (1–3):
Participants progress through structured training phases—Resume Building, Applications, and Interviews—designed to prepare them for competitive job readiness and employment success.
- Placement:
Upon completion of training, participants are supported in securing meaningful placements such as volunteer work, internships, or employment opportunities aligned with their goals and availability.
- Follow-Up:
We maintain monthly follow-ups for one year after placement to ensure continued support, address evolving needs, and promote long-term stability and career advancement.
